Labor Day weekend was a busy one for Andy Seuss and the One Stop Toy Shop / Rockingham Boat race team. Seuss ran strong in two different True Value Modified Racing Series events. However, the final results of the weekend weren’t quite what the 18-year-old New Hampshire driver was looking for.
On Saturday, Seuss tackled the high banks of White Mountain Motorsports Park. He was fastest in practice, but the 100-lap feature race turned soured very quickly. Two cars ahead of Seuss got into each other at the start and on the first lap, he got caught up in a wreck. The #70 team repaired a broken spindle, but lost laps doing so. Seuss battled on to finish 15th.
On Sunday, Seuss made the trip to Canaan Fair Speedway where he was second to Kirk Alexander in practice and started the race in the fifth spot. Luck would not be riding along with the team here either though. Seuss ran as high as fourth before an oil leak surfaced on his car. He finished in the 13th position.
