The 100-lap True Value Modified Racing Series event at Lee USA Speedway might have been rained out on Sunday afternoon, but it was still a busy day for Andy Seuss and his #70 One Stop Toy Shop / Rockingham Boat crew.
The race event, which consisted of a doubleheader with the ACT Late Models, was washed out in the middle of heat races but not before the #70 car got roughed up a little bit.
In practice, Seuss was behind a spinning car and got into it with his right front corner. A spindle and several other pieces needed to be replaced as a result.
Then came an eventful heat race. Seuss got together with Gary Casella and both cars had to fall to the back of the field for being involved in a caution. Seuss still marched his way back to fifth at the finish to earn a starting spot for the race, which has been postponed until September 17th.
