The #70, Stuarts Automotive car of Andy Seuss appeared to have good finish at Lee USA Speedway (NH) ahead of it on Friday night when something happened to the car that left Seuss making several trips to the pits on the way to an 21st-place finish.
“We are happy with it. We have to check out the motor. What happened was the exhaust came apart underneath the thermal wrap. It has happened before. We were just thinking that it keeps the heat in there and ruins the header but after it did that the motor start smoking a little bit. We will have to check it out this week.”
“It was not the night that we were looking for,” said Seuss. “The hits just keep on coming this year. We keep sliding back in the points from these low, low finishes.
“Overall I guess you could say that we are happy. We got to treat it as a big test. Something has just been off this year. I definitely think that we found a lot. Just going out there and changing everything time there was a caution we would come in and change something. We made pretty drastic changes and found something at the end that we really liked. At one point we were even faster then the leader.
