Andy Seuss turned around a string of bad luck on Saturday night, when he visited Oxford Plains Speedway for the first time in his racing career and finished 10th in the True Value Modified Racing Series event at the track. It was the first time that Tour-style Modifieds visited the track since Seuss was a toddler and the young racer took to the place right away.
“Tonight we got a top ten finish and we are happy with it,” said Seuss. “We really owe that to Kevin from Stuart’s Automotive. He provided us with a new engine for the car this week. The guys worked until 3 in the morning to get it in. With support from Kevin and the great Stuart Automotive team I have, we will get back to where we need to be.”
Seuss said that he team isn’t quite back to its winning form after a series of wrecks and mechanical failures, but they are getting awfully close.
“We still are not quite there, but we learned more tonight to help us with the car. We’re looking forward to going back to Monadnock this coming weekend.”
