Andy Seuss Returns to His Roots at Lee
Finishes Fourth in a Supermod, Goes Back for 100 Lap TVMRS Race This Friday
Andy Seuss returned to his racing roots this past weekend, and he will be doing a lot more of the same this coming Friday night.

This past weekend, Seuss got the opportunity to drive the #11 Dave Bouchard-owned small block Supermodified at Lee USA Speedway (NH).  It was a chance for the young driver to return to the track and division where he got his start in full-sized auto racing.  Seuss made the most of his time back behind the wheel by starting 11th and finishing fourth in the feature race.

“That was a lot of fun,” said Seuss.  “It’s how we started and I enjoyed coming back to race that kind of car again.  I really have to thank Dave Bouchard for the chance to race his car.  It’s always great to race in front of the hometown crowd.”

Seuss will get another chance to race close to home this

Friday night when the True Value Modified Racing Series heads to Lee for their first 100-lap event of the season there.  Last Saturday night, the TVMRS got rained out at Waterford Speedbowl (CT), so Seuss is looking forward to wheeling his Rockingham Boat/Stewart’s Automotive Mod again.

“I always like racing at Lee and when the Modifieds come to town, it’s even better,” said Seuss.  “A lot of people come out to those races and it’s nice to see the familiar faces in the crowd.  We’ve been running very well at Lee with our Modified, we just haven’t had the right luck.  So maybe the track owes us a victory and I would love for that to come this Friday night.”

The TVMRS race at Lee is scheduled for Friday, June 15th.
