Andy Seuss had a solid debut as the driver of the Advance Auto Parts #47 Modified fielded by Riggs Racing this past Saturday at Caraway Speedway (NC). Seuss started deep in the field for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season opener, but rebounded to finish 10th.
“We knew that there was going to be a learning curve ,” said Seuss. “We would have liked to come out and win the race, but we had a little bit of a reality check today. We struggled a little bit in practice and qualifying, but we came we did and come home with a top ten finish and that’s more than we could ask for.
"It was great working with the Riggs crew. It was good to see that we can work with them. I am very optimistic about our races in the future.”
Seuss and the Riggs team return to action this Saturday at Southern National Speedway in Kenly, North Carolina.
