Seuss to Race Down South and Up North This Weekend
Races in Virginia and Connecticut Are Part of the Plan
Andy Seuss is from New Hampshire, but he competes full-time on the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour.  He also fits in as many big NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour shows as possible.  But sometimes, there is a scheduling conflict that forces Seuss to get creative or choose one race over another.
This weekend, Seuss is facing one of those conflicts.  However, he's not picking and choosing any races.  Instead, he plans to race at South Boston Speedway on the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour with the #47 Advance Auto Parts Modified on Saturday night and then the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Icebreaker at Thompson International Speedway with the #70 Stuart's Automotive/Rockingham Boat Modified on Sunday.

“When the schedules for the year came out, we knew that there would be a conflict,” said Seuss.  “But both races present really great opportunities and there are enough good people on both teams to make it work.  So we figured out a way to make it happened.”

Seuss couldn't be happier about that fact.

“Any day that you can wake up and race is a great day.  The do that two days in a row is even better.”

To pull off this fete, Seuss will need an assist from a fellow driver.  His #70 team has tapped former WMT race winner and Thompson Sunoco Modified regular Tommy Cravenho to practice and qualify his car on Saturday afternoon.

“Picking Tommy was a no-brainer when we started looking at our options,” said Seuss.  “With the success and experience that he has at Thompson, we'll be in good hands.  He's been awesome and we really appreciate him helping us out.”

Andy Seuss will race the #47 and #70 Modifieds this weekend.
