Andy Seuss will drive the #46 Modified for Bob Katon's Berkley Auto Racing team in Wednesday's Modified Madness $10,000-to-win open show at Seekonk Speedway (MA). Seuss will fill in for regular driver George Brunnhoelzl, III who cannot make it to the race due to work commitments in North Carolina.
Seuss and Brunnhoelzl competed against each other for the 2009 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour championship - with Brunnhoelzl eventually taking the crown. They maintain a high degree of respect for each other and Seuss is glad to fill in for him.
“It was happy that they chose me to drive their car this week,” said Seuss. “It was very nice of them to call me. The #46 team is a good team and that's that their home track, so I'm looking forward to giving them a good finish.”
Seuss has previous won at Seekonk in Modified Racing Series competition. Last year, he finished seventh in the Modified Madness show at Seekonk.
